Hends Fly Tying Lacquer L12 serves both as a lacquer and a glue. It dries very quickly and creates a glossy, glass-like finish on the fly body. Colored varnishes are used to tint fly bodies to match the natural colors of the imitated insect. They are especially suitable for reinforcing quill-bodied flies and for creating glassy bodies on midge patterns.
